Turning To Christ

Greetings!

This week was great.  We met with some friends at church, performed some service and played ping pong.  The work is going well, and I’ve met some really good people.  A little kid gave me a dope hat and I received a new Legend of Zelda tie that is deluxe.

One of the leaders here taught us a really cool lesson.  He said when his kids have done something they shouldn’t have, he will sit them down and ask them to explain the situation.  He will ask them to recognize what they did and ask if they feel good about it.  Then he asks them what happens when they do something they shouldn’t.  They tell him that they will have consequences.  He will ask them what the consequence should be and let them choose.  Then he teaches about the results of their actions and repentance.  Part of the repentance process is to recognize what you have done and own the consequences of our choices.

To repent means to have a change of heart.  True repentance is when we truly recognize what we have done and take steps to change it.  We all have moments of recognition of things we want to change in our lives.  Turning to Christ will help.

Have a stellar week.
