Sunny Days

Greetings from Jordan,

This week we had exchanges, taught some great people, performed some service, and played ping pong and soccer on P day.  The stake here was divided into two separate stakes and we had Elder Pino of the Seventy come share a great message.  That was cool.

Also, this week we had a class about how to have healthy relationships by learning how to resolve conflict when necessary.  We learned that we can have different attitudes toward conflict.  We can:

1.       Avoid the conflict

2.       Compete- try to be right and increase contention

3.       Solve- try to resolve the conflict

When we try to resolve the conflict, we need to be conscious of our thoughts and emotions.  We need to be conscious about the problem, the person we are having conflict with, and how we can try to fix it.  One way to discuss the conflict is to each share how we feel about the situation and share what we need.

I encourage you all to try and resolve a conflict or relationship that may be having problems.

Enjoy the sunshine.  Have a great week!

Elder (Aidan) George
