Greetings everyone, Another great week has gone by. We have been really busy this week with interviews, meeting lots of great friends and we went to the Trujillo Temple. We also have 26 new missionaries coming to our area and transfers are this week. In our self-reliance class we learned about Building Healthy Relationships. The areas we focused on were: 1. Relationships are important 2. Building relationships 3. Be understanding and nonjudgmental 4. Communicate with “I” messages 5. Be charitable One of the things I want to focus on is being a better listener. I liked learning about communicating with “I” statements and feel like we could all be better at this. Using “I” statements instead of “you” statements doesn’t negate the feelings of others and helps you identify your own feelings. It is a better system of resolving problems. Greetings! This week was great. We met with some friends at church, performed some service and played ping pong. The work is going well, and I’ve met some really good people. He will ask them what the consequence should be and let them choose. Then he teaches about the results of their actions and repentance. Part of the repentance process is to recognize what you have done and own the consequences of our choices. To repent means to have a chang...

Hello from Jordan, What a great couple of weeks. I love teaching and getting to know the people here. We had a zone conference, went on exchanges, attended a baptism, had an interview with the mission president, went on a hike, went to the zoo, and have 2 new Elders with us. I have also been victorious in Bananagrams Spanish edition on several occasions. Oh, and I also learned to say, "What's up doc?" in Spanish. I have been studying the following scriptures this week about the nature of man. In Mosiah 3:19 it reads, “For the natural man in an enemy to God, and has been from the fall of Adam, and will be, forever and ever, unless he yields to the enticings of the Holy Spirit, and putteth off the natural man and becometh a saint through the atonement of Christ the Lord, and becometh as a child, submissive, meek, humble, patient, full of love, willing to submit to all things which the Lord seeth fit to inflict upon him, even as a child dot...
