Who Is He To You?
Greetings from Jordan,
We had transfers last week and I am now in Jordan in the Esperanza Zone. My new companion is Elder Vilca and he’s dope. It was hard to leave Elder Castillo and the great friends I made in El Porvenir but I look forward to getting to know the good people here. The missionaries in this district are great. I’ve met the young single adults who are cool, gave a talk, and went to a wedding. A few days before I got here the key broke in the lock of our apartment so we have a unique way to enter.
I have been studying in Matthew 16: 13-17. 13 When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? 14 And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. 15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? 16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. 17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-jona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
I really like the questions asked in these verses. It is interesting to see what the world says vs. who we think the Savior is. We can all gain a testimony through revelation of who Christ is. We can truly know Him. He wants to have a relationship with us.
Who is He to you?
