Hello again from Jordan - Peru, It’s been a very good week. My companion and I did some service, we met a lot of friends that came to church, taught a lot and met some really good people, went on exchanges, and had district council. My companion and I have a lot in common. I have been learning this week about stress and mindfulness. Something that can help manage stress is focusing on gratitude and developing self-compassion. First, focus on gratitude. “Notice what is around you. Focus for a few minutes on what is right, good, and positive about yourself and the world.” I had been writing in my journal everyday two things I was good at and one thing I want to improve on. I haven’t been doing it lately so I started doing it again. Greetings from Jordan, We had transfers last week and I am now in Jordan in the Esperanza Zone. My new companion is Elder Vilca and he’s dope. It was hard to leave Elder Castillo and the great friends I made in El Porvenir but I look forward to getting to know the good people here. The missionaries in this district are great. Greetings! Last week was a great week. We went to a stake youth camp where we got to speak to the youth. We had a treasure hunt where Elder Castillo and I got the “w”, I had another emotional resilience class focused on physical health, and I turned 20. On Good Friday, I had fish soup for breakfast, and fish for lunch and dinner. I had a special birthday lunch and dinner with Causa for lunch and chicken and cake for dinner. My week focused on the Savior. I liked making Easter a more powerful week by learning about and studying about Holy Week. When we learn about the Savior and testify of Him, the Spirit will testify to you, and you will come to know what is true. I was also thinking that when we make covenants, we can feel the Love of God. When we follow the principles that Christ taught, it helps you increase the amount of love you have for God. I feel like learning about the Savior and trying to follow His prin...
