Greetings From Peru
Greetings from Peru,
Last week was a good week. I went on exchanges 3 times, met with some great friends, and had district council. My comp hooked me up with a haircut. The only bad part was that I had digestive issues 3 of the days. But all is good.
A couple of years ago, I went through a long period of time when I was having migraine headaches every day. They were so bad that my mom and dad both said they wished they could take the pain from me. I was studying in 2 Nephi 9:21 that says:
“And he cometh into the world that he may save all men if they will hearken unto his voice; for behold, he suffereth the pains of all men, yea, the pains of every living creature, both men, women, and children, who belong to the family of Adam. And in Alma 7:11 it says: And he shall go forth, suffering pains and afflictions and temptations of every kind; and this that the word might be filled which saith he will take upon him the pains and the sicknesses of his people. Then in Isaiah 49:16 it says: Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me. When I read this, I thought, whoa. Christ knows our pains and has experienced them all. He will be there with us and will take them upon himself.
