Happy New Year!

It’s been a good couple of weeks in Peru. We saw some crazy fireworks from our apartment New Year’s Eve (check out the video). Last week we had exchanges, a zone council, and visited with the great missionaries in our zone. On P-day, we went on a short hike to Conache and saw some sand dunes. I also ate some delicious green mashed potatoes.

I’ve been studying about believing in Christ and the power of forgiveness. A good indicator of conversion and belief in Christ is peace. The fruits of repentance, which is a change of heart, is peace. We can consistently change and progress and receive more peace. When we receive forgiveness, we are freed from the idea of fear, captivity, guilt, anxiety, and many other things that will help us feel peace and God’s love.
