So, I made it to Peru on Tuesday! It's a very different place and it's nothing like Missouri. I got mountains though, so that's what's up.
Where to begin....
The roads are straight up crazy. There are these things called "motor taxis" that kind of just disregard the difference between the road and the alley and the sidewalk. We have to play "crossy road" (much like the frogger video game) every time we walk across the street.
The food here has been pretty stellar thus far. We have what is called "pensionistas" which is a very sweet lady that makes us breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day. We have someone that does our laundry and takes care of our apartment.
The work here is good. The members are helpful in sending people for us to share our message. I have a bit of a language barrier, and I struggle through a lot of the time. My companion is very patient with me. I have noticed that when I am struggling that I always feel peace after I do my personal studies.
Hope you are all well.
