A Unique Week

Happy Thanksgiving!

This week was very unique and I will most definitely not have another one like it. Let’s begin…

Tuesday- We were able to perform service for a nice lady by doing some painting for her.  We then went to visit the branch president.

Wednesday- There was a protest in Trujillo where we were attending our zone conference.  We had to leave much earlier than planned and spent the day at the mission apartment. After a few hours of phone work, we needed to get outside and went out to meet and talk to people.  We met a really nice lady who was super down to hear more about our message.  She was wearing Stitch ( Lilo & Stitch) PJ’s + slippers + had Stitch on her phone case and it was legit.  We had a very good discussion with her and we were glad we got to meet her.

Thursday (Flames Zone Conference)- Basically, our zone conference was on fire.  Elder Zebollos of the 70 came and dropped some science. We learned about repentance and the importance of the ordinances of sacrament and baptism.  It was really cool to hear him speak.

Friday- had " Noche de Accion de Gracias".  We helped set up a movie and prepare food for our friends to have Thanksgiving.

Saturday- We met the most elect lady ever who knows the truth of the Book of Mormon and Joseph Smith is going to get baptized.  Oh…and I ate fish with fish eyes.

Sunday- After church, we went to wish one of our friends a happy birthday.

A lot more happened but my email stamina has run out of juice.  (Typing on a cell phone)   My invitation= I learned that diligence and patience are essential to have together. Perseverance is to consistently (diligence) put in effort over a period of time (patience). I invite you to think about how you can improve your patience WHILE putting in hard work.

Have a great week.
