Bringing Into The Feast

Well, these past few weeks were fascinating. I did a lot of activities for the 4th of July, so I didn't have time to write an email, but we hung out with Zone and did festivities together. Then came Wednesday. Elder Davis sadly tested positive for Covid, so he was out the day before transfers.  My new companion is Elder Neal, but for the time being me and Elder Davis have been locked down together for the last 5+ days or so. While it was tough being locked down, I learned lot!

While we were limited to the activities we could do, I took it as an opportunity to learn a lot about goals, and what it means to be less "goal setters" but more "goal achievers".  Keeping positive has been a focus this week and it has been testing my ability to remain positive.  I am excited for this new week, and the opportunity to try again.

I also studied a lot about patience and the eternal significance it has. There was a quote that I found that I like:  "Only through patience and love can we eliminate the toxicities in our lives." I thought that was legit.

Have a great week!
