Family

This was a great week.  Thank you for all the birthday wishes! I had some great families make me birthday dinner and cookies.  Another family gave me and my companion some Elk steaks that we cooked for dinner.  I also made some stew but had to improvise some ingredients, so it was "meh".  The trees are pretty here as the Spring blossoms are starting to bloom. 

 

This week I have had family on my mind.  The goal of families is to help each other.  What defines family?  We are all family, whether by blood or not. The family is the strongest unit on the planet.   Blessings come through family history work and connecting with all those around us.  To love our neighbors is the first great commandment.  The power of the atonement has been extended to all of us and we have been given mercy and grace.  We can and should give mercy and grace to others.  The reason I'm out here is to connect with others.
