Anti-Fragile

A lot has happened in the last couple of weeks.  We had transfers and I stayed in Kansas City and Elder Connell was transferred to a different area.  My new companion’s name is Elder Moen.  He’s a good friend.

I found out that my Visa paperwork got lost sometime in February, so I had to redo my fingerprints and submit a new background check.  I don’t have a date yet on when I will be leaving for Peru but I’m just focusing on making connections with the fine people here in Missouri.

I went on exchanges last week and had a lot of fun.  I’ve been working on family history and learning about my ancestors.  We also did a lot of service and participated in an Escape Room activity with the youth.

I talked with someone that used the term “anti-fragile” last week. I liked the idea of….  You can hit it and it becomes fragile.  With enough pressure it will burst and then rebuild as something stronger.

Hope you are all well.
