Off I Go
This week I was informed that this will be the last week I will be here in the Far West Zone. It has been a very good five months in Cameron and I will miss the people, my companion, and the other two missionaries that are here. I look forward to learning what the Lord has planned for me in my next area. Transfers are on Thursday, and I’ll find out where I’m going then. Still no word on going to Peru.
We had three very powerful lessons this week. Two of them were about the Plan of Salvation. I like how simple it is. I also like teaching about the need for a restoration, the need for a living prophet, and how the Book of Mormon enhances some of the teachings in the Bible. We were able to witness someone “ignite their fire” again after time away.
We met the 2015 Missouri State Champion Pie Maker last week. She invited us to come back Wednesday and she is going to make us some of her famous pie. I’m looking forward to that before being transferred.
If you ever have doubts, I know studying the Plan of Happiness will help answer them. Follow the Prophet, read the Book of Mormon and learn more about the restoration.
Sincerely,
Elder (Aidan) George
