The Voyage Begins
My week was solid. We had to stay inside again because of the snow so we did a lot of calls and work via our phones.
Yes....Tuesday came we had interviews with President and had a solid lesson. My comp didn't feel too good so he wasn't able to talk too much but was good anyway.
Very interesting Wednesday, we meet this dude who was laying down some straight bars, and we got to listen to him rap in his home. We got to share a message with him though, and he seems like he could be interested.
In the spirit of Thursdays one of our dudes had to cancel, but we visited one of our other homies and he has been teaching his flat mates the Gospel. So solid. Next Thursday we finally will be starting an English class for anyone who can attend on either Zoom or in-person.
So for Friday we had District counsel and then a mission wide devotional. The devotional essentially helped me realize that I need to be better at making and keeping goals and also to start utilizing family history into the work.
As far as Saturdays go it wasn't bad. We were stuck inside but was a good day. I made some really spicy curry, but it tasted good.
If the snow was clear enough, we would have had to go to two churches because starting next transfer, we might be double covering or serving in two wards. We did have church at my original branch.
So that was my week. There was something else that happened this week. If you are familiar with acrostic poems then you should be able to figure it out with the final word being "starting."
Here are some pictures, and if you haven't already made some goals, you should cause they are crucial.
