Sword Fish Ceviche

Hello/Hola Everyone,

This week broke the "usual week" streak I've experienced since being out in the field. After last Monday we had our first exchange of the transfer. I got to go with Elder Sorenson. We had a good time and were able to have some good discussions.

We taught one man named Brian who was a bit rough to teach because he didn't give us any room to talk. Sadly, I don't think we will be able to teach him more. We also meet a woman named Tina who was very kind, and we will be seeing her in a few days.

As far as people found and lessons taught - this week was not the best. But I did have the opportunity to learn a lot more about the work and how I can improve. This weekend I had the chance to help with the community in a craft festival. We were able to help the vendors both set up and clean up. It's surprising how much fun I could have by carrying boxes. During the festival we had a "Light the World" booth and got to tell people about it. It was a nice change of pace.

Sunday, I got to bear my testimony and shared my thoughts about the importance of sharing my testimony. While that wasn't the first time testifying to others, it was the first time to a congregation.

I had the chance to try sword fish ceviche and fried octopus (which was actually really good!).  On Thanksgiving we watched Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and it was somehow better than the last time I saw it.  We had a good time with the zone and were able to say "thanks" to the members. The members here are very kind and being on a mission during Thanksgiving was a good reminder to give thanks for all I have to God. I say thanksevery day, but only surface level thanks

We had some spectacular sunsets and sunrises. We set up a little Christmas decor and are starting off the holiday season with "Light the World" and the spirit of service. I invite you all to fund a way to bring the Savior into Christmas this year through service, giving, or any other means to accomplish it.

Hope you are all well.  Happy belated Thanksgiving!
